As a brand, Ya-Ya Travels the World celebrates cultural diversity and representation in various spaces through participating in community-driven activities, events, and initiatives centered around this cause.

About the Book

Ya-Ya Travels the World is a story of a young girl who loves her hometown but grows restless and longs for somewhere new. With a sense of adventure, and the help of a little magic, Ya-Ya embarks on a whirlwind journey around the world. Join Ya-Ya in her quest to find the perfect destination to escape her boredom and all the fun experiences she gets into along the way!

Meet Farasha, Author and Owner

Farasha is a native of West Orange, New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Fashion Merchandising from LIM College and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethune-Cookman University.

Much of her early career as a fashion professional was very busy and often stressful, leading Farasha to look for ways to tap back into activities that she enjoyed as healthy outlets. Chief among them was international travel, creative projects, and spending quality time nurturing playful children in her close circle.

As a young child, Farasha always had a love for books and vivid storytelling. Through a recollection of fond memories associated with reading, and a combination of her passions, the idea to write Ya-Ya Travels the World was born!
